Purpose: To manipulate parts of words by adding and omitting letters, sounds, syllables and suffixes. Rather than ask for the same word in their hand, students must request a word to make a contrasting pair. For example, students might ask, “I have pin. Do you have pine?” The backs of all “I Have. Do You Have?” cards, have are printed in color with the above moose.
