WHY?

WHAT?

Moose Materials are primarily games and manipulatives designed to help students master the structure of the English Language.
These materials provide practice in the areas of phonological awareness, phonics, word structure, morphology, orthography, fluency and vocabulary.
The structure of the English language is covered from phonemic awareness and beginning sound/symbol relationships to the most advanced levels of word structure & morphology

WHEN & WHERE?

The flexibility of Moose Materials allows the activities and games
to support a wide variety of structured language programs
When presenting new information in a multi-sensory manner
During the application or review portions of a structured language lesson
At the end of a class to wrap up a lesson in a positive, light-hearted way
In the regular classroom when working independently at centers
