What, When & Where
WHAT?
Moose Materials are primarily games and manipulatives designed to help students master the structure of the English Language.
These materials provide practice in the areas of phonological awareness, phonics, word structure, morphology, orthography, fluency and vocabulary.
The structure of the English language is covered from phonemic awareness and beginning sound/symbol relationships to the most advanced levels of word structure & morphology

WHEN & WHERE?
The flexibility of Moose Materials allows the activities and games
to support a wide variety of structured language programs
- When presenting new information in a multi-sensory manner
- During the application or review portions of a structured language lesson
- At the end of a class to wrap up a lesson in a positive, light-hearted way
- In the regular classroom when working independently at centers
- At home when practicing skills with family members by playing a game
- During the critical opportunities for additional reinforcement provided paraprofessionals
- In tutoring centers where children arrive tired, at the end of a full day
